Bishop Kulick Announces Opening Synod Mass
The Church of God is convoked in Synod. With this convocation, Pope Francis invites the whole Church to question itself on synodality: a decisive theme for the life and mission of the Church. This two-year journey will include reflections and sharing of the whole Church.
The solemn opening of the Synod will take place in the Diocese of Greensburg on Sunday, October 17 at a Mass celebrated by Bishop Larry J. Kulick at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greensburg at 11 a.m. The solemn opening took place in Rome on October 9-10 and will conclude in the Vatican in 2023 with the assembly of bishops from around the world.
