GREENSBURG – Bishop Larry J. Kulick invites the faithful of the Diocese of Greensburg to join him on Monday, September 23, for the annual Pennsylvania March for Life in Harrisburg. This peaceful march is in support of the unborn.
Deacon William Newhouse, Director of Family Life and Pro-Life Ministries for the Diocese of Greensburg, said five buses have been reserved for the march thanks to the generosity of the Knights of Columbus. The buses will leave in the early morning hours from 13 locations around the Diocese.
The buses will arrive at the state capitol at 11 a.m. After the rally and march, Mass will be celebrated at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. Following Mass, those attending from the Diocese will have the opportunity to meet with their state representatives to advocate for pro-life issues.
Buses will leave Harrisburg at 4 p.m. to return to the Diocese.
The first annual Pennsylvania March for Life was held three years ago on September 27, 2021, with great success. Bishop Kulick and Father Daniel E. Carr, pastor at Saint Regis Parish, Trafford and Director of Ministry Formation for the Diocese of Greensburg, led over 150 pilgrims from our Diocese to march around the Capitol building in support of the right to life in our state.
