GREENSBURG – Faithful from around the Diocese of Greensburg are traveling to the annual March For Life on Friday, January 24. The Most Reverend Larry J. Kulick, Bishop of Greensburg, will celebrate Mass at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception at 10:30 a.m. for those parishioners from the Diocese of Greensburg in Washington DC for the March for Life.

Local Events
Locally, the Greensburg Diocesan Council of the National Council of Catholic Women will “Pray for Life” that day at Christ Our Shepherd Center on January 24. The schedule begins at 11:30 AM and includes Mass, Rosary, Litany and Stations, closing with Benediction at 4:00 PM. A free-will offering and donations of diapers and baby items, for distribution to pregnancy centers in the Diocese, will be collected. Attendees can drop in or stay all day.
National Prayer Vigil for Life
National Prayer Vigil for Life is a prayer vigil held on the eve of the March for Life each January. Thousands of pilgrims from across the nation pray for an end to abortion and a greater respect for all human life. It is held at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. The Vigil Program will be televised by EWTN and livestreamed here.
