First responders were called to St. John the Evangelist Parish in Connellsville last evening after a traffic accident that caused damage to St. John the Evangelist Church. “I offer my prayers to all of those involved in the accident last night in Connellsville at St. John the Evangelist Parish,” Bishop Kulick said. “The Facilities and Engineering Department from the Diocese of Greensburg was at the parish today. The church building did not sustain any damage as a result of the accident. However, an accessible ramp, an awning and a door were damaged. Clean up will be underway and the church will remain open. This should not affect Christmas Masses.”
