
GREENSBURG – September 1 –The Diocese of Greensburg Men’s Ministry Team is sponsoring a Catholic Men’s Retreat from 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, until 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at Christ Our Shepherd Center in Greensburg.
Retreat speaker will be Mark Joseph, who left a successful business career 10 years ago to serve the Catholic Church. He is currently President of Outreach and Evangelization at Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio, where he and his team evangelize, educate and empower, all through the grace of God.
“When I finally understood and internalized the unconditional love of Jesus Christ, it rocked my world and changed my life forever. As such, it’s my passion to share the message with as many people as possible,” Joseph writes on his website.
An accomplished author and speaker, Joseph also writes a blog. He endeavors to help people understand they are made for greatness.
He will deliver four talks at the retreat:
– Going from Overwhelmed to Fulfilled
– Your God-given Talents Work Seven Days a Week
– Calling All Men to Action
– We’re Not Meant to Go Through Life Alone Music for the retreat will be provided by Christian songwriter Greg Capozzi, who has led music ministry for men’s retreats for more than a decade.
Friday’s session will include the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharistic Adoration. Saturday’s session will end with a closing Mass celebrated by Bishop Larry J. Kulick.
