GREENSBURG – Sarah C. Hartner has been named content coordinator for the multimedia platforms of The Catholic Accent.
In her new role, Hartner will be responsible for videography and photography as well as creating graphics and videos for “The Catholic Accent TV Show,” its magazine and newspaper, social media, and parish communications.
Hartner joined the Diocesan Communications Office in May as an intern. Over the summer, she was hired part time while she continues to work toward her degree in digital art and media at Saint Vincent College, Latrobe. After her graduation in the spring, Hartner will join the office full time.
“Sarah quickly distinguished herself with her incredible talent and eye for videography and design,” said Jennifer Miele, Chief Communications Officer and Managing Director of Evangelization for the Diocese of Greensburg. “We were looking to add to our staff and were truly blessed that the most qualified candidate for our growing needs was already working in our office.”
At Saint Vincent College, Hartner has served as a social media manager for Campus Ministry, the theology department and the Career and Professional Development Center, and was a student assistant in the Athletic Office. She is active in Campus Ministry, the Respect Life Club and the dance team, and coordinates both praise and worship music and women’s small groups on campus.
“I have always had a passion for combining graphic design with my faith, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to do that in this position with the Diocese,” Hartner said.
Hartner lives in Irwin with her family. They are parishioners of St. Agnes Parish, North Huntingdon.
