Monsignor Gaston is the former pastor of Mother of Sorrows parish. He was named the Director of Continuing Education for Clergy for the Catholic Diocese of Greensburg when he left Mother of Sorrows in 2021.  He was recently appointed Director of the Neumann House in Greensburg, where he and other retired diocesan priests reside.

Boomers and Beyond is a ministry serving the “baby boomers” of Mother of Sorrows parish and the surrounding communities. Lunch and learn sessions are held on the second Tuesday of each month, in the Mother of Sorrows social hall.  Topics are varied, reservations are not required, and sessions are open to all interested adults. Participants gather at 11:30am and are encouraged to bring a “brown bag” lunch and to bring a friend.  Beverages are provided.  Presentations follow at 12:00.
