Celebration of the Feast of Saint Mary of Czestochowa

The faithful of the Diocese of Greensburg are invited to celebrate the feast of its parish saint, on Monday, Aug. 26. St. Mary of Czestochowa in New Kensington. Sponsored by  The Holy Name Society of St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, the glorious celebration will begin at 6:00 pm. Mass will be spoken and sung in Polish/English and a procession highlighting the Polish icon. There will be an ice cream social at the conclusion of Mass in St. Mary Friendship Hall. Veneration of the icon will be held at St. Mary’s on Tuesday, August 27 through Thursday, August 29 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm and on Friday after Mass at 9:30 am. This is a once in a lifetime celebration, so we encourage all to mark their calendars.
