Presenter Judi Petrush, an Assistant District Attorney, has dedicated almost three decades to serving Westmoreland County — particularly its most vulnerable citizens, our children. She prosecutes all types of felony and misdemeanor offenses and is the senior sexual assault and child abuse prosecutor for the Westmoreland DA’s Office. Judi is a member of both the National and State District Attorneys’ Associations, the Westmoreland Academy of Trial Lawyers, and was elected by fellow Westmoreland County attorneys to serve as a board member, then president and past president of the Westmoreland Bar Association.

Join the discussion as Judi Petrush describes the impact of trauma and what happens when children are involved in the court system as victims, as witnesses or facing juvenile charges.

Boomers and Beyond lunch and learn sessions are open to all interested adults of the surrounding communities and are free of charge.   Participants gather at 11:30am and bring a “brown bag” lunch; beverages are provided.  Presentations follow at 12:00pm. Topics vary and reservations are not required.
