Saint James Parish Apollo Night at the Races

Saint James Parish will hold a “Night at the Races” in the parish’s activities center, 109 Owens View Avenue, Apollo, on Saturday, October 18.  All are welcome to attend.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the horse races begin at 7 p.m.  The $20 admission ticket covers food and drink and an opportunity to wager bets on 11 horse races.  50/50 raffles, theme basket raffle, and pull tabs will also be featured.  Those who are present at the event will be eligible to win an extra $500 cash bonus prize.  Admission tickets will be sold in the vestibule of Saint James Church before and after weekend Masses; by calling Linda @ 724-882-8776; at the parish office; as well as at the door on the night of the event.
