Solemn Candlelight Rorate Mass at Christ, Prince of Peace Parish

The Solemn Candlelight Rorate Mass carries on the ancient Catholic tradition of celebrating a candlelight Mass during the holy season of Advent to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary and to prepare for the arrival of the Son of God. The word “Rorate” comes from the traditional opening psalm for the Mass which sings “Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness.” All are invited.
