St. Monica’s Tears Holy Hour in Jeannette

The Jeannette Catholic Community will be hosting a St. Monica’s Tears Holy Hour on Thursday, August 31 at 7 pm at Ascension Church, Jeannette. Just as St. Monica prayed for the conversion of her son, Augustine, we will be praying for our loved ones who have left the church. The Holy Hour will consist of Eucharistic Adoration, the praying of psalms, the singing of hymns and silent prayer asking for Our Lord’s mercy and invoking the powerful intercession of St Monica that our loved ones return to the Eucharist.
