The St. Vincent Camerata will present “Nata Nox-At The Manger with Mary” on Friday, December 12th and Sunday, December 14th at 7pm. Friday’s concert will be held at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greensburg; Sunday’s concert will be performed at The St. Vincent Archabbey Basilica in Latrobe.
Paired with Classic Christmas Carols, the Camerata will perform works ranging from the elegant polyphony of Hassler, Victoria, and Sweelinck to the powerful contemporary sound of Górecki’s Totus Tuus, Biebl’s beloved Ave Maria, and Mack Wilberg’s stunning setting of “O Holy Night.”
Camerata Director, Chaz Bowers will serve as conductor for both performances. Chris Pardini will accompany The Camerata at the organ and Father Stephen Concordia, OSB, Associate Conductor and Director Emeritus, will conduct the Gregorian Chant Schola.
Admission is free, but a goodwill offering will be available
