The Catholic Accent Names New Executive Editor
Mr. Cliff Gorski, a well-known Pittsburgh-area Communications and Marketing Professional, has accepted the position as Executive Editor of The Catholic Accent. He starts in November.
Gorski is a parishioner at St. Sebastian Parish, Belle Vernon, where he serves as a lector, a member of pastoral council as well as a volunteer festival chairperson.
Gorski has been the Director of Communications for the Mitchondrial Disease Foundation since 2007. Prior to UMDF, he was Vice President of Media Relations for Alliance Soccer Resources, the parent company of the Pittsburgh River Hounds.
After attending Duquesne University for a degree in journalism, he started his career as a radio news reporter and anchor for WESA AM/FM in Charleroi and then transitioned to a number of other radio stations including KQV-AM.
Gorski and his wife Kim, live in Belle Vernon, PA. They have two children. Their daughter, Marysa Hazlett and her husband, Garrett, live in Greensburg. Their son, Brandon Gorski, lives in Belle Vernon. They also have a grandson, Graham Hazlett.

Cliff’s experience, faith and willingness to serve the Church make him a perfect fit for this position,” said Jennifer Miele, Chief Communications Officer.
