Visual Communications Director John Zylka Wins Graphic Design Awards
John Zylka, Director of Visual Communications at the Diocese of Greensburg, has been honored with a Communicator Award of Distinction for Marketing Effectiveness and second place for the best multimedia package from the Catholic Media Association. Zylka designed an integrated marketing campaign for the TOP Student program. TOP is also known as the St. Pope John Paul Tuition Opportunity Partnership and provided financial assistance to more than 800 students in the Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Greensburg and helped to increase enrollment by 13%. The Catholic Media Association awards acknowledge outstanding work by Catholic Communicators across North America as they strive to further the mission of the Church. The Communicator Awards are presented by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts and receive more than 5,000 entries each year from around the country. Zylka joined the Diocese in 2018.
