Saint James Church, New Alexandria speaker series

Saint James Church, New Alexandria will host our third installment in our speaker series, “Living as Healthy Disciples.” As Christians, the care we give our body, mind and spirit is important as we care for this great gift of life that God has given us. Through this series, we receive professional guidance from local Christian healthcare providers and counselors.  Our third talk in this series will take place Wednesday, April 17th at 6:00 p.m. in the Social Hall. This talk will focus on grief and loss, whether through death, the ending of a relationship, health issues or aging as part of life.  Come learn the difference between healthy and unhealthy grieving and learn ways to grieve in a healthier way.   We are excited to welcome Mr. Bob Brinker, a counselor at Catholic Charities, to St. James for this valuable presentation.   For more information, please contact the Parish Office at 724-668-2829.
