
New Kensington – Mar 30 – Mary Queen of Apostles is proud to announce that Vanessa Ibrahim (Grade 8) received the Mary Fahey Award. The Mary Fahey Award is given to someone who has been committed to forensics over the years, earned multiple first awards, is a mentor to others on the team, and over the years has encouraged others to participate in the club.
Vanessa has also participated in a variety of categories since joining in fifth grade. She has also been an All-Stars Awardee multiple times.
The award is named after the founder of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Forensic League, a league that is meant to be a developmental league.
