GREENSBURG – July 13, 2022 – Holy Family Parish in Seward, Indiana County, will honor all who serve in any capacity as a First Responder at its 2nd Annual “Blue Mass” on Wednesday, July 20, at 7 p.m.
Pastor William J. Lechnar, who is also Chaplain for the Pennsylvania State Police, said Emergency Response Vehicles and Equipment will be blessed following the Mass. The Mass coincides with the 45th Anniversary of the Johnstown Flood of 1977. All who were impacted by the flood are encouraged to join together in prayer to help remember all who suffered loss and those who served the community during that terrible disaster.
