A record crowd of 541 people enjoyed an evening of fine dining and friendship while helping Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Greensburg raise funds to assist people in need around the diocese at the 21st annual Communities of Salt and Light Award Dinner April 25 at Stratigos Banquet Centre, North Huntingdon.
Organizers have every hope that proceeds for the dinner, which has raised $1.27 million since its inception in 1999, will exceed $100,000 this year.
