
Bishop Kulick’s Evangelization Efforts Honored by Catholic Media Association
Bishop Larry Kulick, in his first television broadcast called The Accent On-Air “Christmas Traditions” was honored with a Communicator Award of Distinction for religious and spiritual television and a silver Telly Award for Religious and Spiritual Television. “Christmas Traditions” also doubled as a special edition magazine and featured a story about Bishop Kulick’s Slovak heritage detailing how his roots influenced his priestly formation. That story won a Communicator Award of Distinction for feature writing.
The Accent On-Air won a second place Gabriel Award for narrative series storytelling from the Catholic Academy for Communication Arts Professionals and honors excellence in broadcasting.
