CMA names Jennifer Miele Communicator of the Year, North America 2021
Jennifer Miele, Chief Communications Officer of the Diocese of Greensburg and Managing Director of Evangelization, was named by the Catholic Media Association as Communication Professional of the Year 2021, North America, for the second time. Miele won the same honor in 2019, as well as Marketing Professional of Year by the CMA in 2020. Miele joined the Diocese of Greensburg in 2018 and immediately announced the new multi-media Catholic Accent, which included an online newspaper, television show and magazine in addition to the traditional newspaper. Under the direction of Bishop Larry J. Kulick, The Catholic Accent media recently received Catholic Media Association, Telly and Communicator Awards for spiritual and religious writing, video production and branded content. The Catholic Media Association awards acknowledge outstanding work by Catholic Communicators across North America as they strive to further the mission of the Church. The Telly Awards is the largest honor for video and television content across all screens, receiving 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents. The Communicator Awards are presented by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts and receive more than 5,000 entries each year from around the country.
