NEW KENSINGTON– Colleen Gray, a student at Mary Queen of Apostles School, was selected from thousands of entries as a winner in the 2022-20232 Christmas Artwork Contests of the Missionary Childhood Association.
Gray will have her artwork featured, along with the 22 other winners, in an exhibition at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C. that runs throughout the 2023 Advent/Christmas Season.
Colleen and the other winners received a plaque honoring their achievements and the students were celebrated at a Mass at the Shrine earlier this month.
